”Vigla” in Greek language means observatory, Imerovigli built at the top of the caldera cliff was the observatory to monitor the sea from pirate attacks and enemy ships . From here begins the path that leads to the fortress of Skaros. Imerovigli is the perfect location to admire breathtaking views of the Fira capital and the Aegean Sea.
