The Temple of Olympian ZeusThe Temple of Olympian Zeus is located Next to the National Garden and to the Zappion and very close to Panathenaic Stadium, under the shadow of the Acropolis. The Temple of Olympian Zeus began to be constructed in the 6th century BC, but was completed in the second century AD from the Roman emperor Hadrian. It was the biggest temple in Greece during the Hellenistic and Roman times. Today, you can see the ruins of the temple, in which only 15 out of the 104 initial columns of it remain in place.
