Mount LycabettusMount Lycabettus is the highest point in Athens. From the small church of St. George, which was built in the 19th century in the place of the Byzantine church of the Prophet Elijah. On the top of Lycabettus visitors can admire a panoramic view of Athens City and its suburbs. On Mount Lycabettus there is also the homonymous theater where concerts and shows are performed, especially during the summer months. The Mount can be approached in three ways. On foot, passing through the district of Kolonaki, by car and by cable railway from Kolonaki. On the top of the mount you will find a café-restaurant, in which visitors can enjoy a coffee break or taste the Greek cooking.
